In 2014 and 2015 I worked for MINI at KKLD* Berlin. The task was to create a consistent strategic, creative and communicative rebranding to be applied to all products and services and gradually rolled out across all channels and consumer touchpoints. The cult brand’s new appearance and positioning includes a new minimalistic logo, new visual and design identity as well as new typeface, the MINI Serif.
Besides being involved in the development of the new brand design I was also in charge of managing the roll out campaign and the first trade show in the new design in collaboration with Meiré & Meiré, spending 7 months at the MINI headquarters in Munich as a senior design consultant for KKLD* and MINI.
The overall look is designed to be emotional, clean and premium, with a clear focus on the essentials, thereby underscoring the brand’s new direction.
